Our unique 9-level Learn to Swim programme consists of the Beginner, Learn to Swim, and Stroke Correction groups.
The purpose of the Beginners programme is to familiarize young children with water and prepare them to learn to swim by helping them acquire basic aquatic skills and encourage a love for water.
The Beginners lessons take place in the 4m x 4m x 0.8m small pool at Stars. Each lesson is 20 minutes long and has up to 4 swimmers along with the instructor in the pool.
Learn to Swim
The purpose of the Learn to Swim programme is to develop good swimming habits and safe practices in and around the water.
The Learn to Swim lessons take place in the 6m x 4m x 1m middle pool at Stars. Each lesson is 25 minutes long and has up to 5 swimmers along with the instructor in the pool.
The purpose of the Stroke Correction programme is to ensure that swimmers are competent in the four strokes learned and confident in other advanced aquatic skills.
The Stroke Correction lessons take place in the 10m x 6m x 1.4m big pool at Stars. Each lesson is 30 minutes long and has up to 6 swimmers, with the instructor teaching the lesson.
